This Summer my family and I took a big trip to seven different National Parks.
Badlands
This is me at the Badlands on a tall rock. It was as natural as could be. The first part of the hike was a board walk. But after that we had to follow numbered stakes. After you find the first stake you had to find your way to the next one.
Yellowstone
These are only a few little hot springs that we saw near Old Faithfull.
I think we all know about the amazing, famous geyser named Old Faithfull. I think this geyser is wonderful to watch.
Bryce Canyon
This is me at Bryce Canyon. This tree wasn't as easy to climb as it looks!
Zion
This is called a Camel Spider. it looks a lot like a scorpion. IT ALMOST ATE MY BROTHER!
Mesa Verde
This is called a Kiva. Native Americans built these. The hole at the top of the picture is a tunnel to the next kiva.
These buildings are actually slowly sliding off of the Cliffside.
Grand Canyon
The Grand Canyon is an amazing thing to see. If you ask me though some wild and crazy things happened on our campsite too!
ELK ATTACK!
Carlsbad Caverns
This is called a (Brazilian) Mexican Freetailed Bat. There are billions in the cavern.
This was an amazing trip I hope we can do some thing like this another time.
